Account Representative


An Account Representative manages the accounting and finances (Controller/CFO functions) for two to six clients. They are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Form positive and professional relationships with clients and their associates including employees, customers, vendors, investors, and auditors
  • Record daily activity, i.e. bank account and credit card transactions
  • Invoice client customers and apply corresponding payments
  • Assist in vendor creation, invoice processing, and vendor payment processing
  • Communicate with TAG™ payroll administrator and assist in collection of payroll data
  • Generate and review all client reports
  • Prepare closing procedures for month/year end
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain materially accurate income statements
  • Assist clients with accounting-related projects, track out of scope work
  • Accurately maintain client files in database
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in accounting or business
  • CPA/CPA-ready preferred
  • Zero to five years’ experience in an accounting/finance role
  • Experience working in a small business environment preferred
  • High level of customer service, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Oracle© NetSuite experience a plus
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings as needed
