Account Representative
Responsibilities:
An Account Representative manages the accounting and finances (Controller/CFO functions) for two to six clients. They are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Form positive and professional relationships with clients and their associates including employees, customers, vendors, investors, and auditors
- Record daily activity, i.e. bank account and credit card transactions
- Invoice client customers and apply corresponding payments
- Assist in vendor creation, invoice processing, and vendor payment processing
- Communicate with TAG™ payroll administrator and assist in collection of payroll data
- Generate and review all client reports
- Prepare closing procedures for month/year end
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts
- Maintain materially accurate income statements
- Assist clients with accounting-related projects, track out of scope work
- Accurately maintain client files in database
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in accounting or business
- CPA/CPA-ready preferred
- Zero to five years’ experience in an accounting/finance role
- Experience working in a small business environment preferred
- High level of customer service, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Oracle© NetSuite experience a plus
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings as needed
