Meet our TAG™ Team

John Carpenter

Founder, President

John has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and private industry, serving the manufacturing, healthcare, and construction industries. His areas of expertise include assisting customers in identifying and prioritizing strategic, operational, and financial weaknesses or deficiencies, and implementing results-oriented corrective action programs. John founded The Attilio Group™ in 2007 and began development of the TAG™ Solution based on his passion for small business and the desire to provide “big business” expertise to small businesses in a streamlined, affordable package. John is a Certified Public Accountant and certified Lean Six Sigma.

Steve Waters

Chief Executive Officer

Steve brings more than 25 years of accounting experience to TAG™ and is committed to providing total service to our clients. He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance and Accounting at two major Racine County manufacturing companies. A devoted Badger fan, Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin. Away from work, Steve plays the role of “Dad” and “Coach” to his twins. He and his wife both enjoy watching their kids play basketball.

Haly Fink-Jung

Customer Onboarding

Working directly with new clients, Haly assists in making the transition to TAG™ positive and enriching. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Haly holds a double major in Elementary Education and Environmental Studies. Her experience as a teacher strengthened her communication and relationship-building skills. Haly consistently brings depth, creativity; and leadership to TAG™. Being outside with her husband and English Setter pup makes Haly the happiest, as does a strong cup of coffee.

Jennifer Kornman

Sales Representative

Jennifer spent 13 years in the banking industry developing and servicing consumer and commercial relationships, followed by a brief role in marketing/sales in the restoration industry. She was born and raised in Kenosha, WI and currently resides in Oak Creek. When she is not in the office, Jennifer loves spending time on the golf course and with her family.

Andrew Foertch-Jans

Accounts Payable Specialist

A true Chicagoan, Andrew joins us remotely at TAG™. An alumnus of The University of Chicago, Andrew graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies. He has over five years of experience in financial operations and over three years of experience specifically in Accounts Payable. In his free time, Andrew enjoys volunteering at Joined Hands Food Pantry in Chicago and playing guitar.

Darek Yong

Customer Bill Pay Manager

Darek is a Chicago theatre and music buff. She enjoys playing piano and singing along to any Brandi Carlile music. A Michigan transplant, Darek received her undergraduate degree in Theatre and her graduate degree in Stage Management from Alma College and Wayne State University, respectfully. Darek’s previous work as a Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Coordinator helped prepare her for her role of Customer Bill Pay Manager at TAG™. She has over nine years of experience in the accounting field and recently became a certified AvidXchange Administrator.

Stevie Sjoberg

Senior Manager of Client Solutions

Stevie received her Accounting degree from the University of Utah before moving back to the Midwest. She is a highly organized, performance-driven individual, who brings extensive financial statement examination experience and complex problem-solving skills to the TAG™ Account Representatives team. Stevie is mom to son, Charlie. She and her husband enjoy staying active outside and brewing their own beer.

Amy Kirby

Client Solutions Manager

A Certified Public Accountant, Amy has over 25 years of experience in public accounting focusing on tax and small businesses. She received her Accounting degree from the University of Illinois and has been a member of the TAG™ team since 2014. Amy proudly raised three daughters, enjoys golfing and traveling with her husband, and stays active with her Golden Retriever pup.

Carolyn Horner

Client Solutions Manager

As an Account Representative at TAG™, Carolyn shares her skills in treasury and finance, as well as operations and stewardship. Carolyn received her Accounting and Professional Services degree from the University of Southern Indiana and has over five years of accounting experience. Carolyn enjoys improving her Spanish language skills, spending time with family, and playing piano in her down time.

Amy Schildt

Client Solutions Manager

As part of the account representative team at TAG™, Amy brings over 15 years of accounting experience in manufacturing. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and marketing at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and has an Executive MBA for Families in Business from Kennesaw State University, GA. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband camping, traveling, snowmobiling and doing lake activities with her German Shorthair pointer and miniature Daschund.

Natalie Burant

Client Solutions Manager

Natalie received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting as well as an MBA from Bradley University where she ran for the cross country and track teams. She is a goal-oriented, driven individual with experience working with multiple clients in various industries in the auditing space. In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with family and friends and spending time outdoors

Cameron Hayes

Client Solutions Manager

Cameron received his degree in Finance from Carroll University and has lived in the greater Milwaukee area for most of his life. He got his start in accounting, focused in real estate and property management, and has greatly expanded upon his skillset since joining TAG™. He takes a process-orientated approach towards a variety of accounting systems with respect to data organization and analysis. He enjoys the outdoors, weather permitting, with a strong affinity for the culinary arts.

Ivette Zuniga

Client Solutions Manager

A Milwaukee native, Ivette received her bachelor's degree in Accounting and International Business from Marquette University. She started her career in public accounting, is a CPA, and brings 6 years of experience working in the Milwaukee market as a bilingual tax professional. In her spare time, Ivette enjoys spending time working on her new house, reading, and constantly trying to tire out her 6-year-old Yorkie.

Elle Veranth

Accounts Payable Support Staff

Elle is a Racine native but now resides in Texas. As a remote TAG™ accounts payable support staff, she is highly organized and prioritizes time management. Elle will be graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside at the end of 2022 with a Business Administration degree. She is also highly passionate about writing and freelances as a side job. In her free time, Elle enjoys practicing riding her Harley-Davidson Sportster, cooking, and exploring new places in the DFW area with her boyfriend, Zack, and their Pit Bull, Morris.

Allie Milbrath

Search Partner/Talent Acquisition

After spending a decade with an executive search firm, she started BLG Recruitment to continue her passion in helping organizations bring top talent to their team. Allie has worked across industries and functional areas. She has successfully placed Manager to C-Suite executives as well as Board of Director seats. Allie has an expertise in identifying and captivating passive talent, qualifying candidates, understanding culture, building relationships and acting as a true partner to clients.

Nate Cucciare

IT Specialists

Nate is responsible for the IT development and maintenance of TAG™. He has a wealth of experience serving in various technology capacities for over fifteen years. Prior to joining The Attilio Group, he provided leadership for IT infrastructure architecture, deployment, and maintenance for a major transportation company as well as a large general contractor. He has substantial experience with systems conversions for clients who move to the TAG™ platform. Nate holds a CIS Network Specialist Degree and has completed numerous Microsoft, Cisco and related technology seminars.
